2. There are more than 500 active volcanoes in the world. (more than half of these volcanoes are part of the "Ring of Fire", a region that encircles the Pacific Ocean.)

3. The word volcano originally comes from the name of the Roman god of fire, Vulcan. (Amazing, Right?)

4. Where is the Tallest Volcano? Well, It’s incredibly located on Mars! (its name is Olympus Mons, is a giant shield volcano that rises to an elevation of 27 km, and it measures 550 km across.)
